Nail in the Fence (Anger management)

                        NAILS IN THE FENCE
Once upon a time there was a boy who was talented, creative ,handsome and bright. But,
He was also self-centered and had very bad temper. When he got angry,he is usually said and did some very hurtful things. In fact, he seemed to have very little regard for those around him.
As he grew, parents become worried about his short temper and thought hard, how they control it.Finally the father had an idea and he struck a bargain with his son. He gave a bag of nail and hammer."when you lose your temper,"he told the boy," I want you to really let it out. Just take a nail and drive it into the oak board of that old fence in backyard. Hit that nail as hard as you can!".
By end of first day, the boy driving 32 nails into the fence! Gradually over a period of week, the number reduced as the boy was tired of hitting the nail into tough board.Holding this Temple proved to be easier than driving nails into the fence!
Finally that day day came when the boy did not lose temper at all.
He felt mighty proud as he told his parents about that accomplishment.
"As a sign of your success,"his father said,"you get to to pull out one nail. In fact you can do that each day that you don't lose  lose your temper even once."
Well many weeks passed. Finally, one day the young boy was able to report proudly that all nails are gone.
At the point of time, the father took his son to backyard and ask him to take one good look at fence."you have done my son,"he said"but I want you to observe the holes that are left in fence. No matter what happen from now on, dispense will never be the same. Saying aur doing artful things in anger produce the same kind of result. There will always be a scar it doesn't matter how many time you say sorry,or how many year pass, the sky will be still there. And a verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. People are much more valuable than an old fence. They make us smile. They help us succeed. Some will even become friend who share our joy and support us bad times. And if they trust us, they will open heart to us.that means we need to treat everyone with love and respect. We need to prevent as many of those scars as we can."
Hearing the words of his father, tears rolled down the eyes of the young boy. He realised that short temper and angry only created barriers in his relationship and drifted him away from others.
